Grade 4/5 Reading Link Challenge
We have a great group of Grade 4/5's that are participating in the FVRL Reading Link Challenge this year. Their goal is to read 6 books as a team and work together to answer questions about the books during practice challenges as we prepare for our school challenge in April. After our school challenge, one team will represent Yarrow in the library challenge against other schools in the district. If they win that challenge, they will move onto the community challenge against other cities in the grand challenge!
Titles for 2025-2026
Super Reader
Super Reader is starting up again for the 2025/2026 school year! If you have been reading since the first day of school you can count those nights for your nights of reading. Make sure to try and read everyday at home for at least 20 minutes a day. You will notice by the end of the year that you have become a better reader because of it and you should be proud of yourself for reading so many nights! Please only hand in one set of 50 nights at a time, make sure to keep track throughout the year.
First day to hand in Super Reader forms:
50 Nights - Tuesday, October 21
100 Nights - Tuesday, December 9
150 Nights - Tuesday, January 27
200 Nights - Tuesday, March 31
250 Nights - Tuesday, May 5
Last Day to hand in all forms - Thursday, May 28
